Three independent senators from Quebec hosting discussion panel on legalization of recreational cannabis

Quebec, April 19, 2018 – On Friday, April 20, 2018, the Honourable Senators Rosa Galvez (Bedford), Renée Dupuis (The Laurentides) and Raymonde Saint-Germain (De la Vallière) will host a discussion panel at the Université Laval à Québec on the legalization of recreational cannabis in Canada.

The three expert panel members will be David Tousignant (Manager, Strategic Policy, Health Canada), Horacio Arruda, M.D., FRCPC (Director of Public Health and Assistant Deputy Minister, Department of Health and Social Services Quebec), and François Gagnon, Ph.D. (Scientific Advisor, Institut national de santé publique du Québec).
